I have been the creator of several audio history sites over the past 20 years. The first was the Silver Pioneer Reference Site. I maintained that site on a free webhosting service until the company switched to paid format, and the site went down. Fortunately, Rick Stout of StereoManuals.com archived the entire site and it can be viewed by visiting the above website and the appropriate link.
I then did the Phase Linear Reference Site. This site can also be viewed on StereoManuals.com.
I began writing several articles for Wikipedia on various subjects. I researched and wrote the history of Threshold Audio and it was accepted for publication by Wikipedia. However, the article I later wrote on Counterpoint Electronics was rejected, even though it was equally notable and all refereences and inline citations were included.
I decided to put the Counterpoint Electronics history up on WordPress, where it can remain for free as a source of product information and history to audio enthusiasts of the brand.
